Extra! Extra! Read all about it …

Good morning! If you don’t normally buy an Ottawa Citizen newspaper, pick one up today to support not only your local paper but this caffeine-needy writer!

In today’s Travel Section, I have two articles for your morning coffee:

#1: What a woman wants: how hotels can cater better to women business travellers and a list of hotels going all out to do so. Women entrepreneurs interviewed for this piece are Penelope Trunk of Brazen Careerist, Kelly Fallis of The Remote Sylist, and Ottawa’s own Annie Crombie of Re-Think Strategic Consulting.

#2. Five worth the drive for a March Break getaway: If you haven’t organized anything for March Break, fear not, it’s not too late. Here are five ideas for you that are easy to get to and offer lots of fun for the whole family. You’ll probably recognize some of the places immediately because I’ve blogged about visiting them recently (tried, tested and true!)

Comments

  1. Nice articles Julie! After a busy day I finally got to sit down with the newspaper.
It’s strange how it always takes so long for businesses to figure out that women are spending a lot of money in today’s economy!

  2. We stopped our subscription a while back as three young kids were preventing us from reading the paper – and we read so much online now – but there are times I really miss sitting with a coffee and reading. Now I’ll have to head over to my neighbour’s to pick up yesterday’s paper and read your fabulous articles :)

  3. If some one desires expert view about runnin a blog after tthat i advise
him/her to visit thius blog, Keep up the pleasant job.
