It was all part of the theme, but I had no idea how tough pinatas are to break! Each child, all under 2 years old, had their chance to wack the Tiki and I don’t think a dent was made in the friggin’ armour… and that was with adult support in aim and hit strength! So, we turned it over to the adults. Full power strikes by adults with bulging muscles made no difference! Eventually we lay’d it on the ground (pun intended) and pummeled it until it cracked. At one point, a knife was considered, but ultimately cooler heads prevailed, as stabbing anything at a kids party is not recommended.

Oh, and Happy Belated Birthday to the little lady of the house!
