I’m an Ottawa local. A mother of two children, aged 8 and 3. And a wife for 14 years now. I love being all of these things and I’ll tend to chat about them in my blog a lot (under the general categories of living or family).

My big passion is travel. Our family simply cannot get enough of this world! We are always dreaming and planning the next trip. Often this is an outdoor adventure, but it might also be a whirlwind trip to New York City or a week lazing on the beach. We like to mix-it-up a lot, sometimes taking solo trips while other times we do big family trips (our children are excellent little travellers!).

But hey, one can’t be travelling all the time, so I keep my daydreams active by catching local theatre and dance performances and by reading blogs, books and magazines, which I also share here on the blog (under the general category of media).

My 9-to-5 (yeah, I know, the concept of 9-5 doesn’t really exist anymore does it?) life has included working in design agencies and corporate communications departments. Currently, I work full-time as a manager of corporate communications in the high-tech sector. And just for the pure love of it, I also work as a freelance travel writer and blogger.
